1. DESCRIPTION
Sequencing grade chymotrypsin is a recombinant serine endopeptidase expressed in E.coli, purified with HPLC, the gene sequence is the same as human chymotrypsin. Sequencing grade chymotrypsin hydrolyzes at the carboxyl side of aromatic amino acids residues: Tyr, Phe and Trp. Cleavage may also be observed, but at a lower rate, at Leu and Met. The optimal pH is 7.0�.0.

3. RECOMMEND USAGE
Prepare 1-10mg/ml sequencing grade chymotrypsin with 50mM HAC.When digest the protein, the target protein was dissolved with 50 mM or 100 mM NH4HCO3, and then add a certain amount of enzyme.The ratio to aimed protein is 1:50 to 1:1000 (w/w) at 30â„?When the temperature is more than 30â„?enzyme will be self-cutting.
4. STABILITY OF STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
�）Stability of storage:Sequencing grade chymotrypsin lyophilized should be stored under 2-8�in sealed container. It is stable within 24 months.After dissolving with 50mM HAc, store at 2-8 �or use within 2 days.If the solution is stored at -20 �or below, it is stable within 24 months. The solution should avoid repeated freezing and thawing and placing at room temperature a long time.
